Ways and Means
A significant portion of the National Specialty expenses are covered by funds raised through logo
item sales, silent auctions, and raffles. Please participate in these as generously as you can and wear
your logo items proudly knowing that you've helped a great cause!
Dog Food & Water
There is a Target within walking distance of the hotel. Food can be purchased at PetSMart just to the
west of the hotel, past the highway or Southern Agriculture that is 2.5 miles away.
DCAF Cocktail Gala
'Denim N Diamonds' Cocktail Gala will be held on Tuesday, May 8 at 5:30 before the Top Twenty
Competition. More details will be available closer to the event. Gala admission is $100 per person and
does not include Top Twenty Seating.
THE ART SHOW AT THE DOG SHOW!
Don't miss your opportunity to acquire a unique piece of art in this year's new DCAF fundraiser!
Some 30 creative and talented Dal enthusiasts have contributed their works that will be available in a
Silent Auction at the Nationals! Minimum bids are $35 each. The Art will be on display on the DCAF
website, the DCAF FaceBook page, and at the show throughout the judging on Tuesday and Tuesday evening
during the Top Twenty competition with the auction closing that evening. Even if you can't make it to the
show, you will be able to bid on these one of a kind pieces from home! Visit the

Junior Handlers
"Learn From the Pro". A professional handler will evaluate your skills and offer suggestions for how
to improve. We need at least 5 Junior Handlers to sign up in order to conduct this clinic. Date and time
to be announced.
Transportation
By Air - Tulsa International Airport - Code TUL
Most US domestic carriers serve this airport and it is only about 10 miles from the hotel. Service for
animals has been outstanding. Because of varying and frequently changing airline policies on flying dogs,
check national and regional carriers in your area.
Airport Transportation Services
The Renaissance Tulsa Hotel & Convention Center will provide an airport shuttle service to the hotel.
The cost is $20 per person and $12 per dog; payment methods are cash or charged to your guestroom. To make
your shuttle reservations please call the hotel directly at 918.307.2600; please be sure to have your
flight information available at this time. Reservations can be made starting after March 1, 2012 through
April 8, 2012.
Car Rental Companies
Most major car rental companies are available at the airport. Contact the local office of your choice
directly to be assured of the vehicle you require.
