Directions: FROM CINCINNATI - Take I-71 North to Exit 32. Turn right off of exit. Make first left onto St. Rt. 350 (Landmarks: Bp station, Clark Station and the famous Country Kitchen). Camp Kern entrance is 2 1/2 miles on the right. (Do not go down the large hill and cross the river...if you do, you went too far!). Approx. time from downtown Cincinnati: 35 mins.

Property Description: The DCA Road Trial will be on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 8:00am. YMCA CAMP KERN, 5291 State route 350, Oregonia, Ohio 45054. Located on 485 beautiful acres in the Little Miami River Valley of Southwestern Ohio. YMCA Camp Kern is owned and operated by the YMCA of Greater Dayton. It is located approximately 45 minutes from the host hotel. There is direct access from I-71 on good, paved roadways. There is horse rental on-site as well as stabling for exhibitors with horses. Well-kept property, slightly rolling terrain, with trails through the woods with \ varied terrain. This course is acceptable for mounted exhibitors. Driving competitors are responsible for assessing the course and making the decision if it is acceptable for driving. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME DOGS HAVE BEEN ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY SO ALL DALMATIANS MUST BE ON LEAD UNLESS ON THE ROAD TRIAL COURSE COMPETING.

Entry Limitations: Entries will be limited to a maximum of 5 RDX teams, 15 RD teams, and 8 CC teams or limited to the availability of the second veterinarian tech or the availability of rental horses. The number of entries shall be limited according to Chapter 1, Section 13 of the DCA Road Trial Rules & Regulations.

Milford Rd. to 5330 S. Milford Rd. Approximately 30 miles - 33 minutes.

Entry Limitations: The Tracking Dog Test will be limited to 4 Dalmatians. The Tracking Dog Excellent Test will be limited to 4 Dalmatians. If the limit is not reached in Dalmatians, other breeds may enter using the following procedure: Draw (1) Dalmatians without a TD or TDX title, Draw (2) Dalmatians with a TD or TDX title, Draw (3) other breeds without a TD or TDX title, Draw (4) other breeds with a TD or TDX title. If the limit for entries is not reached in one test and the limit is exceeded in the other test, the number of tracks will be exchanged up to the limit set by the AKC Tracking Regulations.

Dogs must be 6 months of age or older.

Entries must be on an official AKC form & will not be accepted without fees & signature & a statement of certification, if applicable.

When the limit of 4 dogs for the TD test & 4 dogs for the TDX test have been drawn, all remaining entries, subject to the conditions set forth above, shall be assigned a position on the alternate list cooresponding to the order in which they are drawn. The Test Secretary shall notify all entries of the result as soon as possible.

Drawing of Entries for TD/TDX Test: A drawing will be held at 7:45 a.m. on Friday, April 8, 2011 at the home of the Test Secretary. Should the limits not be reached for the TD or TDX test, tracks may be exchanged on a basis of two TD tracks equal one TDX Track. The drawing shall be completely random among all entries received for Dalmatians first and then other breeds in accordance with Chapter 1, Section 13, Option 2 of the Tracking Regulations. When the limits have been drawn for all Dalmatian TD and TDX entries, all remaing entries shall be assigned to a position on an alternate list cooresponding to the order in which they were drawn. The Test Secretary will notify all entrants of the results of the draw by mail. E-mail inquiries are welcome after the time of the draw to Email. All e-mails will be answered the day following the draw. Upon notification, alternates shall have the option of accepting or refusing the opportunity to participate in the test.

Drawing for Tracks:
Track order will be drawn by lot for TD at 7:45 am and TDX at (:45 am at the Test Headquarters, Miami Meadows Park, 1546 State Route 131, Milford, Ohio 45150, on May 1, 2011. Entrants and alternates must be present at this drawing to guarantee their position in the test. The first track for each event will be run as soon thereafter as it has aged the proper length of time. In the event of absentees among the confirmed entries, the next alternate, in drawing order who is present, will be allowed to fill the vacancy.

Refunds:
No entry fee will be refunded, except the entry fee of a non-participating alternate. Or in the event an accepted entry cancels after the closing date and the secretary is able to replace the entry from the alternate list. The entry fees will be refunded within seven days following the test.

Directions to the Show:
Take I-275 to Rt 50 /Hillsboro Exit. Turn towards Rt 50 / Hillsboro (not towards Milford Prkwy) and turn right (east) on Rt. 50. Travel approximately 2.5 miles through 2 traffic lights. After the second traffic light (Round Bottom Rd), turn left on the 2nd St, Kells Lane, just past Sugar Camp. The facility is the first building on the right.

INFORMATION:

All owners/handlers are responsible for entering their dogs in the proper height class.

Obstacles:
All obstacles used will meet the current specifications as set forth in the AKC Agility Regulations.

Ring Description:
We will utilize the large (78 ft. x 110 ft.) indoor ring; the flooring is 3/8 inch thick rubber matting. There will be minimal crating available inside.

Notice:
All handlers in AKC must have an official height card for each dog entered or have their dogs measured prior to running in any class excluding those jumping 24", unless there is a VMO or AKC representative in attendance. All dogs without a permanent or temporary height card will have to be measured by the judge before running. However, all exhibitors should carry the original AKC official jump height card with them to each trial in order to present the card upon request.

Move-ups must be received in writing by the Trial Secretary no later than 6 pm, Monday, April 25, 2011.

Course Familiarization
Handlers in all classes are permitted to work the course without the dogs prior to start of the class. The walk-through allows handlers to plan their strategy for running the course. A judge's briefing will be held prior to each class.

A warm-up area with a regulation jump will be provided.

Exhibitor Information:
* Exhibitors may wear shirts or insignia of their training group if they wish.
* Bitches in season will not admitted to the trial, there is no refund for bitches that come in season after the trial closing date.
